I bought this thinking that the 4 ohms meant each sub was 4 ohms. each sub is 2 ohms so you need an amp that operates at 4ohms or 1 ohm. Other than that every one that takes a look at my subs says “wow.” these are kick ass.

i always wanted to try these for myself so when i decided to upgrade my system i went for it. First of all these speakers are tough, they take everything my amp puts out. The box design is something else i’m really out of words to describe it. I got these instead of the 2ohm because of another review that said these are two 2ohm speakers wired to 4ohms, that is not true. These are two 4ohm speakers wired for a 4 or a 1 ohm load. Just keep that in mind when getting an amp for them.

I purchased this setup to get the kicker box and have these as back up incase my other ones blow. But I was surprised out how well they hit. I was pushing them with my 1000zx amp. I was too scared to really pump it up, so i went ahead and popped the L7′s in there slots and called it a day. Nice box as well. Kicker never seems to let me down.
